Description
Maryland Guard Gallop Sheet Music. Written by Charles Denstedt. Six pages, 11" x 14", published in 1861 by Miller & Beacham of Baltimore, with a rare color lithograph cover exhibiting four Union soldiers in Zouave dress by "A. Hoen & Co. Balto." On page three is printed, "Maryland Guard Gallop, Respectfully dedicated to the Battalion by the Publishers." Stamped on the cover by a Washington, D.C. "Piano & Music" store. Slightly uneven toning on the cover with foxing. Near fine.Auction Info
