Published by William C. Powell Agency, Inc., promoting the "All Girl Orchestra, direct from Hollywood" and advertising a show to be held at Memorial Hall on August 9, 1946. There are four photographs of the group with their touring bus outside various Hollywood studios.

The Darlings of Rhythm were an African-American all-female swing band, which was formed in Harlem in 1943. Members over the years included Clarence Love (leader), Jean Ray Lee, Thelma Lewis, Helen Taborn, Frann Gaddison, Jessie Turner, Josephine Boyd, Margaret "Padjo" Backstrom, Henrietta Fontaine, Lula Roberts, Vi Wilson, Hettie Smith, and Gurthalee Clark.

Condition: Creasing and soiling throughout, with some light foxing in places. The colors are still very bright.
