1976 WILT CHAMBERLAIN/ JOHN HAVLICEK SIGNED LITHOGRAPH. Dramatic full-color image depicting action from the 1969 NBA Championship series, pitting Chamberlain of the Lakers against nemesis John Havlicek of the Celtics. One of the twelve "Living Legends" lithos commissioned by Sports Illustrated, available on a subscription basis in the mid-70’s. All the subjects are still legends, but a few are still living. Very fine, highquality print featuring the work of noted artist Bob Peake- collectable in his own right. Wilt was notoriously difficult during this project and the majority of the signatures he offered up were less than stellar. Many of the 1000 prints produced were destroyed by Sports Illustrated due to lack of clarity and general nonconformity (adjectives which could just as easily be applied to Wilt). As such, there are few really nice examples around. Measures 18 x 22." Number 866 out of 1000. LOA by Spence and Grad PSA/DNA. (# This item may require additional shipping charges).

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
