Description

1968 UNUSED WORLD SERIES TICKETS. The setting: Busch Stadium, Game 2, 1968 World Series. Conspicuously, two seats in the terrace reserved section are unoccupied. Who knows -- maybe a flat tire or an uninvited visit from the in-laws. The game they missed! Lolich hurled the first of his three 9- inning masterpieces, and for good measure, belted a homer en route to an 8-1 Tiger victory. Meanwhile, the holder(s) of the two full tickets now offered stored away these relics of the game not attended. If we must be critical, one of these (EX/MT) has a superficial crease, evident only on the reverse, and the other (NM) is virtually above criticism. No worthy Detroit Tiger collection should be without such a glorious display.
