Description

1936 WORLD SERIES PROGRAM. Small penciled checkmarks at Fitzsimmons and Hadley on this scorecard indicate that this World Series program pertained to Game 4. The holder of this particular ’36 World Series program was evidently unimpressed by the proceedings as only the first inning is scored and the program was politely set aside. So politely that it remains in strong EX/MT condition. Its only objection is that the lower staple appears to have once been gently removed, then re-applied to effect exact placement. This one’s a beauty. The central features on the cover, incidentally, symbolized the public transit fare from the Polo Grounds to Yankee Stadium.
