Description

U.S. Model 1913 "Patton" Cavalry Saber Converted to a Fighting Knife. The 1913 Springfield Armory blade has been shortened to 8" and modified to double-edge configuration. The knife has been fitted with a leather wrapped handle and oval steel guards and pommel. The tip of the bright blade is slightly rounded, otherwise the knife is in very good condition, complete with a hand-made brown leather sheath. Cole indicates that these knives were produced by an independent contractor during WWII.
