Description
D-Day: Rare Operation Bigot Top Secret Invasion Maps for Omaha Beach East and West With Sunlight and Moonlight Tables on the Verso.Includes: 1) Multicolored map titled OMAHA BEACH - WEST (Vierville-sur-Mer). TOP SECRET - BIGOT printed in green ink. Prepared by Commander Task Force 122, April 21, 1944. The verso is captioned SUNLIGHT AND MOONLIGHT TABLES MAY 25 TO JUNE 21, 1944. 22 x 17-inches, on stiff paper. 2) OMAHA BEACH - EAST (Colleville-sur-Mer). The printing details of this map are identical to the previous example.
We have sold similar Operation Bigot maps for the Utah beach landing, but this is the first time we've offered the more sought-after Omaha beach version.
Condition: Some minor toning to the edges, otherwise excellent condition.
