Colt U.S. Army Model 1917 Double Action Revolver. Cal. .45. Serial Number 221406. 5½" Barrel. Smooth, mostly gray metal with about 30% original finish remaining. Smooth walnut grips. Colt rampant pony marked on left side of the frame. "Colt D.A. 45" marked on the left side of the barrel and "United States Property" marked on the underside of the barrel with additional military proofs on the frame. Complete with lanyard ring.
