WWI: British Military Cross and Medal Group Awarded to Lieutenant Armar Valentine Lowry Corry, 2nd Battalion, Grenadier Guards.

The group includes Corry's cased Military Cross, marked on the reverse LIEUT. ARMAR L. CORRY / 2ND Bn. GRENADIER GUARDS / FESTUBERT / MAY 18TH / 1915. The cross is 44 x 48 mm. The medal is housed in the original fitted brown-leather case with gilt crown on the lid. Corry's 1914-1915 Star medal marked LIEUT. A. V. L. CORRY / G. GDS., his Victory Medal, War Medal (unnamed) and miniature ribbon bar round out the group. A single Grenadier Guards collar insignia and a cap badge complete the lot.
