World War I Home Front Salvation Army Poster: "Oh, Boy ! That's the Girl." 30" x 40", no artist listed but logo of the "Committee of Public Information Division of Pictorial Publicity". Apparently issued immediately after the Armistice with caption "The Salvation Army Lassie Keep Her on the Job - Nov. 11th - 18th 1918. - United War Work Campaign" Depicts Salvation Army "donut dolly" with large tray of donuts and happy soldier in the foreground in the process of enjoying one. Some minor roughness on the right margin, else perfect. Wonderful image with great color.Auction Info
