Description
Springfield Model 1903 Bolt-Action Rifle. Cal. .30-06. Serial number 1355331. "SA" marked barrel dated "8-30". Stock stamped with "D.A.L." inspector's cartouche and stamped with a circle "P" on the lower side of the wrist. Beautiful dark satin Parkerized finish. The stock has some minor wear and there are two tiny nail holes that once held a small disk to the flat of the butt, probably an ID tag or rank number tag. This is a great example of an interwar production '03. The rifle is in excellent condition with a fine, bright bore.Auction Info
