Description
Remington Model 8 .35 Remington Caliber Semi-Automatic Rifle # 12853. Standard grade. Metal generally smooth and gray retaining 10% original blue, primarily on the receiver. There are some shallow dents on the bottom of the magazine, minor. Perfect bore, tight action, excellent markings. Wood shows heavy wear and use with a small hairline at the front of the forestock and tiny hairlines on either side of the wrist. Still sound and easily restored. The butt stock retains most of an old coat of varnish. Good, relatively early representative example of this popular Remington rifle.Auction Info
