Howard Chandler Christy: Marine Aviation Recruitment Poster. 28" x 40" poster by "Howard Chandler Christy 1920" showing two World War I-era planes in flight and a smiling leatherneck riding an eagle in flight. Inscribed: "Aviation.Fly With The U. S. Marines. For Full Information Apply at 419 West Fort Street, Detroit, Mich." Mounted on linen. The condition is superb on this rare and desirable Christy work. Many World War I vets barnstormed the country in the immediate post-war period displaying their aerial pyrotechnics for the general public to enjoy.
