Description

Austro-Hungarian Roth Steyr Model 1907 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Cal. 8mm Roth Steyr. Serial number 31427. Marked "WAFFENFABRIK STEYR" along the top of the barrel, serial numbered on the flat of the right side of the receiver and unit marked "18 FK 141" on the disk on the right side of the grip. The pistol mainly exhibits wear from storage with the majority of wear on the left side of the barrel and some light pitting on the left side of the receiver. The wooden grip panels are worn but complete. Still the pistol retains 75% of the blue finish and the bore is bright making this a very good example of what is held to be the first model semi-automatic pistol adopted by a major military power, predating even the venerable Luger.
