Western Show Saddle by Hamley & Co.. The saddle of rich, brown leather, having a 13-inch seat, 13-inch wide swell fork and floral-tooled leather-wrapped horn. Fork adorned corners with engraved triangular silver mounts. Similar smaller triangle behind horn. Maker's mark on seat reading: HAMLEY AND CO. CIRCLE H. A relaxed cantle decorated with floral motifs. Back side of cantle with with horse head silver escutcheon and marked: SPECIAL 418. Jockey, skirts and fenders extensively hand-tooled en suite. Saddle strings with dual leather rosettes. Maker-marked tool pouch. Double-rigged. Wood stirrups with Blevins-type hardware. Stirrups with associated floral-tooled tapaderos.
