Description
USMC Model 1911 Campaign Hat Used extensively during WWI by US Marines. Excellent condition brown fur felt with Montana peak, double row of rim stitching, rim is turned under - as is correct for the Marine contract campaign hat. Missing interior sweat band. There is a ghost of an eagle globe & anchor badge around the front grommet.From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
