Description
Savage Model 1899 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. .25-35. Serial number 69194. With a 26" round barrel, blued with a walnut stock and crescent butt plate. This is an early 1907 manufactured Model 1899 with block cocking indicator on the bolt. This example has sling swivels mounted to the stock and fore end. This is a superb Model 99 with an excellent bore, moderate wear to the finish on the receiver but the finish on the barrel remains strong. The crescent butt plate has been re-blued. The stock has trivial wear otherwise it is an excellent example of this popular model in a rare caliber.Auction Info
