Description

Chicago Black Horse Troop Dress Tunic, early twentieth century, dark blue wool with white piping, 13 of 15 original 15mm silvered "Great seal" buttons remain. Tight stitching, a bit of fraying on trim. Overall very fine condition. This Illinois National Guard tunic is very similar to the tight shell jackets of the Civil War era.
