U.S. Model 1842 Percussion Musket Springfield 1849 .69 caliber, smooth bore. Metal is mostly smooth dark / gray with pitting at the breech. Tight crisp action, broken nipple. Wood is in very good condition with scattered dents, scratches and an old repair at the barrel tang. Complete and original in every respect.Auction Info
