Description
British Pattern 1859 Enfield Cartridge Box and Sling. In fine condition throughout, the heavy black leather cartridge box shows little wear, just some scratches on the face. There is no crazing and the leather is supple, all seams are tight as is the pull-tab and the buckles. The interior features its original five compartment cartridge tin in excellent condition. The white buff leather sling shows surface soiling but is undamaged and complete. A desirable cartridge box rarely seen in this condition.Auction Info
