Description
British Light Dragoon Pistol With Hannover Percussion Conversion Standard British Light Dragoon Pistol converted to percussion by Hannover with brass ramrod plate and bar safety additions. Iron is smooth and dark with scattered pitting at the breech. Lock marked (Crown)/ GR/ Tower, slips at full cock. Swivel type ramrod. Bar safety extends from the side plate to the hammer preventing the hammer from striking the nipple. Brass side plate marked "G.d.C / D.25", trigger guard marked "III H 50." Brass 6 screw plate added to reinforce the ramrod channel. Stock shows losses at the rear of the lock and a number of small dents and scratches.Auction Info
