Allen & Thurber .32 Caliber Percussion Six Shot Pepperbox. All metal general smooth and gray with scattered very light pitting. Nicely marked Allen's Patent/1845 on bar hammer. 3 1/4" fluted barrel cluster marked Allen & Thurber & Co./ Worcester/ Patented April 16. Light scroll engraving on nipple shield with heavier scroll engraving on frame. Mechanically fine and excellent markings. Grips also excellent with nice dark patina. Complete and original in every respect. Nice representative example of this innovative and popular handgun.Auction Info
