U.S. Regulation Issue M1872 Cavalry Carbine Sling. 1½" wide bridle leather with beaded border, original as issued length with the original brass tip and adjusting buckle along with correct very scarce blued snap swivel. Very fine supple condition, marked Rock Island Arsenal near the tip. Choice example of this scarce piece of U.S. regulation issue cavalry equipment.
