Indian War Campaign Medal.

Bronze, 33 mm, rim numbered M. No. 1122, pinback, full-wrap brooch. This example from the second issue by the U.S. Mint, circa 1919-1928 of which approximately 1,750 examples were produced. This example is sold with an additional ribbon suspension.

Please note: According to "The Indian Wars Medal" by Charles P. McDowell (1999, Foxfall Press), this particular medal, #1122, was awarded to one John Wilson, Private (retired), Hospital Corps, on 20 January 1909.

Condition: Very good.
