Description
Collection of Indian Wars Veterans' Badges. Eleven pieces, including:1. Two large circa 1880s ribbon badges with colorful celluloids, in very choice condition.
2. Two "National Indian Wars Veterans badges, one marked "Black Hawk Indian War."
3. Bronze "United States Army Indian Wars / For Service" badge with mounted Indian.
4. Enameled Mexican Award, "Campana del Yaqui / 1899 a 1910."
5. Similar to #3, but with tiny bronze medal of similar design.
6. Same as #3, but on black/red ribbon.
7. Bronze "Frontier War Service Badge 1844-1892," depicting soldier and Indian.
8. Two lapel studs with mounted Indian and "Veteran Indian War / Veterans USA."
Note: The bronze Indian Wars medal with bent loop is stamped on the edge "M. No. 312".
