Description
Victorian British Cavalry Officer's Sword 32 3/4" straight blade etched for 1/3 its length with typical decorative elements and an indecipherable cypher, ricasso etched "Hamburger Rogers & Co King St Covent Garden W.C.". All metal mostly gray with scattered dark staining and minor pitting. Steel cup guard exhibits "VR" cypher. Fish skin grip showing moderate wear, triple wire wrap excellent.Auction Info
