Poland Five Military Badges , including: Polish Armed Forces Purchasing Mission; 23rd Light Artillery Regiment; Automobile Regiment; General Staff of the Army; and, Polish Armored Train Corps in Britain. The Polish Armed Forces Purchasing Mission badge is silvered metal, 1.75", numbered "576", the backplate with "Polska Misja Wojskowa Zakupow", a silvered locking plate. The 23rd Light Artillery Regiment badge is in silver (?), gilt with enamels, 1.625", two-piece construction with silver locking lug, marked "JK" and engraved with "1935" and "L. W.", elaborate silvered backplate. The Automobile Regiment badge is brass, 2.5" x 1.625", unmarked, brass backplate. The General Staff of the Army badge is brass and white metal with blue enamel, 1.5", two-piece construction, unmarked, brass backplate, vaulted. The Polish Armored Train Corps in Britain badge is silvered metal, 1.5" x 2.25", featuring an ancient, plumed, Polish helmet above a riband with "Essex Devon York Perth" and an attached chain, the back is numbered "71/11", silvered backplate.
