The Polish Legion Command (Type II) badge is silvered metal, 1.25", unmarked, silvered backplate marked "J. Michrowski, Warszawa". The Volunteer Army of J. Hallera badge is brass, 1.25", unmarked, backplate marked "Szczepanski, Lodz". The International Brigade of General Dabrowski badge is silvered metal, 1.25" x 1.375", unmarked, backplate marked "Mennica, Panstwowa". The Topographical School badge is silver, 1.125" x 1.675", two-piece construction, unmarked, gilt backplate marked "J. Knedler, Warszawa". The 1st Polish Corps of Dowbor-Kosnicki badge is marked "84" silver, .75" x 1.5", two-piece construction, silvered backplate marked "W. Gontarczyk, Warszawa". The 1st Ulan (Lancers) Regiment badge is brass, 1" x 1.5", unmarked, brass backplate, worn. The identified badge is silvered metal, 1.375" x 1.75", a riband with "O.S.P.W." above an eagle with the cross of the Order of Grunwald in the talons, silvered backplate. The patriotic badge is hallmarked silver with red and white enamels, 1.5" x 1.75", with "3 Maja 1791 - 1917" on the obverse, small brass backplate, very attractive.
