Custom Engraved Sharps Model 4B Deringer. Custom Engraved Sharps Model 4B Factory Conversion DeringerSerial no. 1026 [frame], 10181 [barrel], .30 caliber, 2 1/2-inch floral engraved barrel cluster. Brass frame with extensive floral and foliate engraving over punch dot background. Right side of frame with Sharp's 1859 patent date. Blued cross-hatched hammer. Rosewood, bird's head grips. Sold together with laminated page 154 from Sellers indicating rarity of factory converted Model 4B.Condition: Very good as configured. Barrels retaining approximately 10-20% of old re-blue primarily in protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina. Frame retaining approximately 60% copper plating. Bright bores with good rifling and scattered patches of fine pitting. Frame screws showing tool marks.
