Very Fine Sharps New Model 1863 .52 Caliber Percussion Carbine Serial # C 46797 Barrel with 98% original blue, just some minor wear at the muzzle, frame and lock with strong bright case colors. Hammer with an area of minor black rust that blends in with the case colors. Remainder of the mounts show nice case colors. Stock and forend in mint condition showing no wear, crisp "S.M.H". inspectors initials at the butt tang. Well struck clear Sharps patent markings on lock and frame with the" New Model" designation on top of the barrel. As fine an example as we have offered.Auction Info
