Very Fine Civil War Variant M1864 .58 Caliber Cartridge Box and Patent Leather Sling. Embossed US box with just some flaking of the exterior finish revealing the brown bridle leather finish underneath but very fine. Sub inspector's cartouche on outside flap. Box is made without an inner flap with the end pieces stitched directly to the outer flap. Retains the original tins. Sling very fine, just some very minor crazing, never cut for a plate. Scarce variant in very fine condition.Auction Info
