Description

Three Miscellaneous 19th Century Cartridge Boxes. Includes: 1) Large, unidentified cartridge box measuring 8 ¼" x 3" x 5 ¼" with a wooden block drilled for 26 rounds. No discernable arsenal marks, two thin belt loops sewn on the back. Front flap surface crazed with some dryness and cracking at the fold, latch tab and finial absent, otherwise good condition. 2) Frazier pattern cartridge box with oval brass "NG" plate on the front flap. Fitted with a wooden block drilled for 18 rounds. Well worn, with most of the black finish worn off, still generally in good condition. 3) Leather cartridge pouch, approximately 6 ½" 1 ½" x 5", no arsenal marks visible. Latch tab and finial present. Considerable cracking to the leather surface of the flap, still about good condition.
