Description
Shiloh Battle Field Association Survivors Badge "We Now Drink From the Same Canteen". Pendant measures approximately 1.75" x 3". Gilded bronze. A handsome badge given to the members of the National Association of the Battle of Shiloh Survivors. The badge features a hanger in the shape of a log with "Shiloh" in relief along its side. Suspended from the center of the hanger is a small can labeled "Coffee". The center of the large circular drop features a scene of the battlefield with "Shiloh Battle Field Association April 6-7, 1862" in relief around the edge. The reverse features a U.S. shield and two soldiers supporting an American flag, symbolizing veterans' reconciliation. Surrounding the scene the slogan "We Now Drink From the Same Canteen".
