Sharps Model 1852 .52 Caliber Percussion Breechloading Carbine Serial # 2825 In fine condition with all metal smooth with gray to brown patina. Brass band and butt plate with deep patina, patchbox exhibits an old silver plate now with a deep patina. Patchbox is absolutely original to the gun. All markings are sharp and clear. Retaining spring at the right rear section of the forend securing the lever hinge pin. Strong crisp action, fine bore with sharp rifling. Stock with an untouched patina in excellent condition showing just a few minor dents and scratches, retaining the original saddle ring and bar. An exceptionally nice untouched example of this scarce Sharps slant breech carbine.Auction Info
