Revised Regulations for the Army of the United States, 1861, (Philadelphia: J. J. L. Brown Printers, 1861), 559 pp., 8vo (8.5" x 5.5"), blue boards. Inscribed "E P Trego Capt / Co. H. 8th Regt Kan's Vol's / Leavenworth City / Kansas" on front free endpaper. A nice clean copy with only light stains, some shelf rub to cover. Very good condition. The owner of this book, Edgar P. Trego, enlisted as captain on January 30, 1862. He would be killed on September 19, 1863 at Chickamauga.Auction Info
