Description
Rare Colt Third Model Dragoon Shoulder Stock Only 1,250 shoulder stocks were produced for the Third Model Colt Dragoon making them rare in any condition. This iron framed example is in untouched condition, and in very good working condition with the metal exhibiting a brown patina with some light pitting on the frame exterior. The buttplate toe is marked, "16943 / 16944", the frame in front of the lanyard ring also marked "16943 / 16944". The walnut stock has some light dents and scratches, both sides display light inspector cartouches.Auction Info
