Post-War Portraits. Four tintypes. 1) Sixth plate portrait of seated soldier with white busby, his hat and belt buckle marked "SLG" (St. Louis Guard?). 2) Sixth plate portrait of two soldiers in studio setting, one of whom holds a piccolo. 3) Hand-tinted sixth plate portrait of two militia men from the 8th regiment. 4) Hand-tinted sixth plate portrait of a militia corporal. Two are housed in half-cases, the others in full embossed leather cases.Auction Info
