Description
Post-Civil War Texas Militia Star Pattern Waist Belt Plate.3 1/2 x 2-inches. Brass. Stamped "FORT / WORTH TEX" on the reverse side. The exact vintage of this type is speculated to be from the late 1800s. In any case, well past the Civil War period.
Condition: Very good. From the Collection of Dr. Phillip R. Rutherford.
