Description
French Model 1822 Musket Converted to Percussion. Manufactured circa 1839. 40½" round barrel in .69 caliber. Conversion alteration is the Belgian style. Configuration as standard for this model. Functioning action. Left side of stock stamped "2814". Right side stamped "TULLE" in two places. Crown over "V" cartouche in an oval in stock, etc. Lock marked "Mre Rie de Calle". All metal parts finished bright.Condition: Metal surfaces pretty much go from light to dark gray. Wood is sound with normal handling dents and abrasions.
