Fine Condition, Completely Untouched Civil War Period Colt M1851 .36 Caliber Percussion Navy Revolver, #101682 Matching. Manufactured early 1862 with correct New York U. S. America barrel address. An exceptionally tight crisp Navy. Overall retains about 30% bright blue and case colors, the balance a very nice smooth dark patina. Cylinder scene near perfect, just the slightest wear, retaining vestiges of the cylinder pins. Brass straps retain 40% of the original silver and grips with 80% original varnish. Excellent bore, the action as tight and crisp as the day is was manufactured. A very attractive and desirable Colt Navy.Auction Info
