Description

Federal Percussion Cap Box. This is a very nice, clean example of a Federal pattern accoutrement carried by a U.S. infantryman during the Civil War. Black leather flap shows slight crazing as do the belt loops. The box is missing its wool fleece pad. Inner body is excellent with no cracks or crazing. Back is maker stamped "H.W. Oliver Pittsburgh Pa."
