Enfield 1863 Percussion Cavalry Carbine 21" round .60 caliber barrel with British proofs at the breech, cleaned bright with sparse pitting and dents at the breech, dark bore. Lock marked (Crown) Tower 1863, tight action, has its nipple protector. Adjustable rear sight, fixed front sight, swivel type ramrod. Metal mostly bright with areas of minor pitting. Stock cleaned smooth, has a few small tight cracks and dents, carbine bar / ring on left side. Deeply carved initials on the left wrist "D.H."Auction Info
