Description
Eleven-Star Confederate First National Flag, 16" x 9.5", coarse linen, printed on both sides. The flag's blue canton has a large central star circled by ten smaller ones. It was likely made in 1861 prior to the admission of Missouri and Kentucky into the Confederacy. Battle flags and Second National flags sport thirteen stars. Staining and pattern transfer on the upper horizontal red bar. This flag is remarkably sound and in very fine condition.Auction Info
