Dixie Land Sheet Music: Two Early Examples, ca. 1860s. First item is "Dixiana Caprice" for the pianoforte on the popular Negro minstrel's melody "Dixie's Land" by Richard Hoffman, 1861, ten pages, 10.25" x 13". Second tiem is "I Wish I Was in Dixie's Land" written and composed expressly for Bryant's Minstrels by Dan D. Emmett, 1860, four pages, 10.25" x 13".Condition: Good, water stains, tears and separation.
