Description
Confederate States of America: 7-Star Ship's Pennant. 71" x 39" hand-stitched pennant made of wool bunting. Seven six-pointed white stars on a red field, randomly arranged. Sail cloth hoist with four whipped grommets. No markings. Found by the consignor in South Carolina in the 1980s. In its earliest configuration, the CSA was composed of seven states. Exudes great character. An outstanding display piece!Conditon: Soiling, scattered stains, creases and holes.
