Description
Civil War: Two Society of the Army of the Potomac Medals.Both medals are identical in form, the planchet measuring approximately 36 x 33 mm, each suspended from blue-white-blue ribbons and each featuring crossed sword pinback hanger and crossed cannon suspension device. Neither example bear maker's marks. Each arm of the planchet is marked with a Corps badge with the Army of the Potomac's XI Corps insignia featured prominently in the center.
Condition: Moderate wear to the ribbon of one example but a section of the appropriate ribbon is included should one wish to restore the medal. Otherwise both examples in very good or better condition.
