Civil War: Three Named West Virginia Honorably Discharged Medals.All examples identical in form featuring a 37 mm bronze medallion, maker marked A. Demerest, N.Y., suspended from a bronze pendant captioned HONORABLY DISCHARGED. Each is stamped on the edge with the recipient's name, rank and regiment. The awardees include JOHN A. BRIGGS 2ND LIEUT. 12TH REG INF VOL; JOS M. BARNES, Co. D 12TH REG INF VOLS; and JOHN A. McGRAW Co I 1ST REG VET INF VOLS.
Condition: All examples in very good condition.
