Civil War Period CDV of Master Allie Turner, the Infant Drummer. The infant drummer, Master Allie Turner, as he appeared at the age of four years old, dressed in his uniform, and posing with his patriotically decorated drum. Turner performed also at Barnum's Museum in 1865. Very fine condition with crisp contrast. E & H. T. Anthony backmark. Very scarce.Auction Info
