Civil War-Era Union Drum with Drumsticks.

9 3/4-inches tall including hoops. 13 1/2-inches in diameter. Drum appears to be completely original. Some decorative paint remains. American flag painted on head. Wood body design. 17-inch round-tipped drumsticks. Drums were essential for communication on the battlefield and in camp. Drummers helped relay commands, set marching rhythms, and woke soldiers with reveille.

Condition: Good. Overall showing noticeable handling wear and age. Tear to drum head. Noticeable puncture hole to the side.
