Cased Image of Union Infantry 1st Sergeant. Hand-tinted quarter plate tintype of 1st sergeant in studio setting. He has a pistol tucked in his belt, wears a dress sash and a kepi with an infantry emblem. A very clear image that is out of the ordinary.
